My wife and I have just returned from Florence and must tell you that our trip was greatly enhanced by your Blue Guide Florence (9th ed) and Italy Food Companion. In short, they are the best. We started leaving our other source materials in the hotel room and simply took ‘the Bible’ with us.

I would like to point out an error in the above publication:
p. 223 (The chapter on THE BARGELLO) section (D) The Ivories Room: 7th line from the bottom of this paragraph:- in the phrase “…SCENES FROM THE LIFE OF ST. PETER IN MALTA.”
This of course should read “SCENES FROM THE LIFE OF ST. PAUL ON MALTA”
No doubt this can be put right in the next edition.
